Faith in Action – Special Olympics is part of the Knights of Columbus Life program. Council 4902 has been very active over the many years in support of the Special Olympics programs, including a variety of local organizations in the local and regional community. We have supported the School District of River Falls Special Education, Have a Heart Foundation and the Ellsworth area Special Olympics with charitable funds raised through our annual Tootsie Roll drive.
The Council for the past several years has also been a supporter of the annual “Run with the Cops” program partnering with the River Falls Police Department. The local law enforcement department holds their annual 5K walk/run event. Our Council has provided monetary donations as well as volunteered time in assisting with the success of the event.
The 2023 Run with the Cops Special Olympics event will be held at the UWRF on October 3, 2023 at 5:00 pm with the 5K walk/run at 7:00 pm.
