Thank you to all who helped to support this wonderful effort to purchase a new Ultrasound machine for Options for Women, River Falls. KC Council 4902 of River Falls and Council 17135 from Big River assisted in raising the funds along with generous donors and matching contributions from Supreme Council and a company called 4US. This effort allowed us to get the new Ultrasound machine much sooner than we anticipated and it is now installed at the River Falls Options for Women.
The New Ultrasound machine is a Mindray Casona N9 and provides for teh capabilities to be able to confirm the presence of an intrauterine pregnancy as early as 6 weeks gestational age, and more importantly, Options clients will be able to see the developing life within their wombs.
Grand Knight Tim Wilson from Council 4902 (Left) and Grand Knight Joseph Merta from Council 17135 (Right) were presented the Champions of Life Award by board vice-president Charles Tentinger (Center). This award is given annually to the individual or organizations that steadfastly supports the pro-life ministry and mission of Options for Women/River Falls. The first Champions of Life award (right) was bestowed upon the Knights of Columbus for the consistent and unwavering financial and spiritual support to Options for Women River Falls.
