The Call to Masculine Sainthood – A Major League Mission of Faith, Courage, and Holiness
Now in its fourth year, the Men’s Rally for Christ, formerly called Knights for Dads, welcomes men from all faith traditions to answer the call to masculine sainthood. On Saturday, February 29, 2026 we were Blessed to have 200+ men of a variety of ages, from around western WI and eastern MN join us to hear from Mike Sweeney, our keynote speaker for the event. Mike spoke from his heart and was very passionate about men becoming leaders of their families through their faith. He encouraged us all to pray the Rosary, receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Holy Eucharist frequently to grow in our love of the Lord and help in us in growing the love of our spouses and children. We were also Blessed to have Luke Spehar provide us spirit-filled music along with his personal testimonial about his faith journey. Dominic Hietala, a member of our Parish and High School senior courageously shared his faith journey with us as well. What a blessing to all who were present. A big thank you to our leadership team (Doug Weiss, Dustin Dodge, Dave Andrea, Tim Wilson and Russ Jensen) for putting together another wonderful event for the men of St. Bridget’s and surrounding communities. Thanks to Nancy Weiss and Sue Fritz for helping to keep the breakfast items stocked and available. Thanks to Kevin Pechacek and his team for providing and serving a great lunch and the cleanup afterwards.
