Pilgrim Icon program – Every few years, the Knights of Columbus selects an icon of a saint whose patronage is particularly inspiring to Knights and their communities.
2024 Pilgrim Icon Mass and Prayer Service. The St. Joseph Icon was on display in the rear of St. Bridget’s Church near the Baptismal font. Our hope is you had a chance to spend some time in pray to St. Joseph as well as take a prayer card. On Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 5:15 pm Fr. Joe had a Mass in honor of St. Joseph. We had about 45 people in attendance for the Mass. Following the Mass, during the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, we held a prayer service to St. Joseph for his intercession. The prayer service included recitation of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Litany of Saints. We had about 20 people who stayed and prayed with us. Fr. Anil led the Litany of Saints and closed with Benediction and reposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
2023 Pilgrim Icon Prayer Service on 4/25/2023. Council 4902 was blessed with the opportunity to host the Pilgrim Icon of St. Joseph at St. Bridget’s Parish during the month of April 2023. The Icon was placed next to the statue of Mary, our Blessed Mother along with prayer cards for KC’s and Parishoner’s to spend time in devotion to St. Joseph, the patron saint of fathers. On April 25, 2023 our Pastor, Fr. Joseph Stefancin celebrated a Mass in Honor of St. Joseph. Later that evening the Council and parish members joined for a prayer service to St. Joseph.
